As our first "Official" Spokane Dinner Club outing, we took on Grubbin', an awesome foodie event created for people who can't decide what they want! (AKA perfect for me) With the purchase of a 20 dollar ticket, we received samples from 17 different food trucks from the great Spokane area. From BBQ to Thai food, and shave ice to ice cream, we left stuffed and happy. What made it even better was the fact that thanks to a raffle with @gatherandsavor, we won two tickets which just happened to fall on my (Miranda's) Birthday! Not only do we love food, but we love local food. Food trucks are an example of investing in communities, making connections, and focusing on the quality of the food. Hannah and I have both been a part of a local coffee shop for several years. It's amazing to be able to invest in a community through a business and that is exactly what these food trucks do. There is a culture of food trucks that allows consistent quality food, since there is no appearance of a shop to focus on, no chairs or waiters, just quality food from people who are passionate about it!
