As our first "Official" Spokane Dinner Club outing, we took on Grubbin', an awesome foodie event created for people who can't decide what they want! (AKA perfect for me) With the purchase of a 20 dollar ticket, we received samples from 17 different food trucks from the great Spokane area. From BBQ to Thai food, and shave ice to ice cream, we left stuffed and happy. What made it even better was the fact that thanks to a raffle with @gatherandsavor , we won two tickets which just happened to fall on my (Miranda's) Birthday! Not only do we love food, but we love local food. Food trucks are an example of investing in communities, making connections, and focusing on the quality of the food. On the search for the perfect burger, or wanting to try something wacky and delicious. Through our hunger and search, we have discovered that Spokane is a foodies paradise. After being a barista in this beloved town for several years, I have been asked, "SO, what's good to eat around here?", more times than I can count, and the list goes on and on.
